This ladle strainer is pretty handy in the kitchen for draining small things

I only wanted it for one reason and that was to pour off the soup from the meat and potatoes. I had hoped it was a little bigger, but it does a pretty good job. Not sure it is better than a scoop by itself, but it does OK. It could have a little bit more support. It doesn't do thick sauces very well, but then again, I didn't buy it for that.

This item will pay for itself the very first time it is used!

I like this but I wish it was larger. When using it in a hearty soup, it only holds about 1/2 cup of liquid at a time. Very tedious to use.

Works great. Perfect size.
